On 8800 can it be used for:

1. Email buffer ?
2. Email attachments ?
3. Memopad notes ?
4. Address book store ?

or is it just for pics and videos ?

That's it ... although you can certainly store Office/PDF/etc files on the card from another source, blackberry has no ability to access them.

Indeed. You could actually use it as a pseudo Flash Drive, and transfer files from computer to computer. But you won't have any functionality on your BB, as backbeat stated.

Mine stores all my Quicken Backups, documents for work, etc.. It makes a great flash drive.

Is it not possible to use pdf's etc with 3rd party apps off the sd card? Any hacks to store email/attachments on the card? Big deal for me.I just purchased 8800 and rec.tomorrow.should I stay with that misserable WM5? Thanks.
