Exclamation phone won't turn on! sending out an SOS please HELP! - 03-10-2007, 06:34 PM

the other night i was talking to my friend on the phone and i guess it ran out of battery or something so it turned off. so i plugged it on the charger but the light on the upper right hand corner of the phone (it flashes when you have e-mail, messages, etc.) started to blink. after it blinked a couple of times, it stopped and ever since, i couldn't turn my phone back on even though i left it on the charger for over 12 hours now. if someone can please help me, i'd be so grateful. as a fellow crackberry user, i'm sure you guys know how it feels not to have your beloved blackberry working so please again, if ANYONE can help, i would greatly appreciate it!

sincerely,

kevin

remove and reinstall the battery, and also charge it using a wall charger, or connect it to your PC

This may seem silly, but if you've been using the wall charger, make sure you unplug the wall charger from the wall, wait 30 seconds, plug back in and hopefully you'll see the charging cycle beginning. It's a longshot, but some chargers have some sort of memory. I didn't think the BB did, but at this point, what harm could it do to try it...
