I was trying to load a video file onto a 8800 using the 4.2 desktop manager. It was limiting the file size to 2.86mb. Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be that he is using the internal memory?

I've played a 700mb video via the microsd card. But I never used desktop manager to load it. just turned on mass storage mode and dragged it over.

Your boss is going to have to get a micro SD card to effectively play videos. You can drop very small videos onto the device's internal memory, but for any decent sized movie or music you will need to install more space. I recommend this card:

It is cheap and works well.

B
