probably impossible

Only output would be audio via the 2.5mm jack on the top leftside panel of your 8800. You could jerry rig something out of the USB, but that is beyond my understanding. Bluetooth option would allow you to connect with a pc, if you had one in you car and update the software running on your pc via the 8800 GPS.

bottom line, I don't think right now you can do it, yet

i have been wrong before, just once, but it has happened before i think

my bb gives me

I suppose in theory it is possible but you would need some very in depth info from RIM's engineering and design, I doubt they would release the info. It is an intriguing idea though hmmmmmm........now I am curious a techno challenge if you will

You can use cable converters to get that 2.5mm plug to stereo RCA's. Search google for the cables. You will end up at ebay or Radio Shack.

The headset jack isn't going to give you any video.

You would need something like the Impactica Showmate and a video converter since the Showmate outputs VGA. I'm assuming that your car stereo has a composite video input (are you sure about this) and can display video from that input?

You can only output audio.

Buy the sedio headset adapter, then buy a headset to RCA stereo splitter from Radio Shack.

Yup. I use the Seidio adapter but you'd have to use the mic on their adapter designed for use on calls as the standard adapter doesn't have an input. It can only output audio.

Not quite. Once again, the Impactica Showmate will output video -- though it outputs VGA as it's intended to be used for presentations from a BB.

for about $10 you can get an FM modulator that will plug into the BB audio jack and broadcast to your car stereo.
