Default keypad lock - 04-17-2007, 11:44 AM

Hi,

got my new bb 8800 .. looks nice but i hate the keypath lock when password is disabled.

You you lock using the keyboard lock icon .. you can unlock but after that you need to unlock keypad using *+foon icon.. how can i disable this option? Can't find in the any menu..

There was a previous discussion with this one in the 8100 discussions thread. The OS does differ from the 8100 to 8800 but after looking into the Options I didn’t see anything that could remotely help you out.

looks like a solution.. still think it a little bit odd..

I agree but there are some reasons to it. There has been only one time that I have been able to make a pocket call with the * talk key unlock…it wasn’t on my BB and it only happened once. It took a hefty bill for me to learn and love the key lock and unlock functionality on all phones.
