Exclamation 'EDGE' now 'edge', no Serv Books, Net, etc - 04-18-2007, 04:10 AM

I just got a new 8800 today and everything was working fine. I upgraded the OS to the Rogers 4.2.1.90 and the installation was successful. After the upgrade I can no longer register the handheld and get my service books and everything else I should have. So now I can't get email, surf the web or anything. I can no longer even get the capital EDGE. I have tried several reboots, removed the battery, removed the SIM, etc. I have absolutely no clue what could be wrong and don't think that Cingular would know or even be able to help since I upgraded the OS.

Please help ASAP. I'm dead in the water here.

There is a major nationwide BlackBerry outage now (since 8PM EDT yesterday). That is impacting your BlackBerry.
