Default Questions from a newbie..... - 04-28-2007, 07:28 PM

Just got my BB 8800 yesterday. So far so good. Just a couple of questions.

1. Where can I get additional software for my BB?

2. I do a lot of Geocaching. I was going to spin my GPX file into a bunch of HTML pages and save them to the media card, but how can I open those HTML pages from the media card onto the BB web browser? Is this possible?

Thanks very much!

Wirelessly posted (BB 8860: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Check the aftermarket software discussion for lots of apps.

Unfortunately, the BB is not real good for geocaching.

Oh I have no plans on using the BB to Geocache, I just want to be able to see the cache pages. I realize I can do this online, but want to keep my usage as low as possible.

I thought that instead of typing http:// I could type file:// and look at my local cache pages. I tried a few varations but was unsucessful. Any suggestions?
