Default 8800 Arrived! Questions! - 05-02-2007, 05:35 PM

Just got my 8800 and I LOVE it already! Just a few questions....

1) Shortley after I turned it on, I used back up and restore to backup all the info on my 8700 (which is gone now) to my 8800. It worked fine, except... a few days ago (after I had done the backup of my 8700) I changed my @rogers.blackberry.net account. After backing up, it shows my old @rogers.blackberry.net email account on my device, which I no longer even have.

I tried resending the service books via the bis site, via the device and by requesting them from Rogers, but it still shows my old E-mail. So, I've deleted my @rogers.blackberry.net account and re-made it, and it's STILL on my old one. Same thing even after taking out the battery and sim and restarting.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

2) Does BlackBerry maps/GPS cost a lot? I get the feeling that it does, especially when I'm scrolling up and down rapidly.

Thanks!

Have you check on the device under Options >>> Advanced Options >> Service Book and see if the old is still listed there???

If the service book is there then delete it...

TeleNav cost $10 a month.... BUT you will incur data charges....

Okay, deleted. Do I need to take out the battery? It's still appearing as an icon.
