Hello,

After trying to interface the Blackberry 8800 with a handsfree car system in a BMW, the bluetooth is stuck in the ON position.

No matter whether I set to disable, enabled etc. the bluetooth LED connstantly blinks and the battery is being drained just as though it were on.

When I go to the SETUP Bluetooth screen the progress bar is filled and it sticks on that screen and refuses to move. I have to press the Red phone button to exit back to the main screen, I can't even pull up the Menu with the menu key when I go to setup Bluetooth.

I have switched the phone on and off several times, but when the phone boots up the Bluetooth is in the same position. When I try to turn Bluetooth ON the indicator icon on that screen does not turn green, it goes to Yellow.

Any ideas??

Pull the battery and reboot... (i.e., not the On/Off button).
