Did anyone see the latest Verizon catolouge? It lists the BB 8830 and underneath it, it states "built-in GPS." Did they advertise like this for the 8703? If they didn't do you think that the 8830 will have GPS enabled by the time it is out for individuals? I can't believe they would advertise it so blatantly if they are still planning on disabling it for more than a short period of time.

My boss just got an 8830 this week...it's sitting on my desk right now in fact. The GPS is, indeed, not accessible to mere mortals (VZW customers). They sound like they may be opening it up for use by VZNav, their own premium GPS service.
