Default BB Maps Disappeared - 05-25-2007, 07:09 AM

Last night I installed the new Google maps, BB Maps and Opera Mini. I am running v4.2.1.90 and I was just putting opera mini on to see if opera mini made any changes in order to make it compatible. I tried running opera mini and it didn’t work, big surprise. Then I deleted it by going to options-advanced options then applications. When I deleted it and the phone rebooted, BB maps was also gone. When I go to applications, it says that it is still there, but there is no icon. Is there anyway to get BB maps back with out putting it on all over again?

Thanks

Have you looked to see if you accidentally hid the BB Maps icon? Hold down ALT and press Menu to SHOW ALL and look.

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Same sort of thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I had installed new GMM and the beyond411 beta and got the out of memory error with the beyond411. Anyway, I deleted BBMaps and reinstalled. Also went back to the earlier beyond411, and I may have uninstalled and reinstalled GMM, too. No problems since.
