Hey I just bought the 8830 from VZW. I can not hear my ringer. I have the profile set on loud. Does anyone know how i can turn up the volume for the ringer. when i play the ringers in the ringtone folder they are loud but when my phone rings they are whispers. Thanks.

In the your Profile, edit the active provile (via Advanced) and then check the actual ring volume both IN HOLSTER and OUT OF HOLSTER settings.

You may simply need to choose louder ringtones.

Nope... If you look at several other posts you'll see this is a common problem that will hopefully be fixed in the next firmware update.
