I'm looking to find some sort of way to listen to stereo music on my BB 8800, but so far have had no luck at finding a compatible headphone. At radio shack they had mini-plug adapters which had four prongs, but they wouldn't work since it looks like the BB only takes a 3 prong connector. Does anybody have any recommendation on adapters / headphones?

Does the USB port work to output audio also? I saw a headset at RS which was for USB, not sure if it was compatible.

I ordered the adapter that includes a mic from the Blackberry site. It was something like $15. Then you can use any regular headphones of your choosing. I also gota set of headphones that included a mic at Best Buy. Both work fine. I tried the adapter from RS also and had no luck with it. I believe that as long as you get an adapter the includes a mic (RS one did not) then you will be fine. I do not think you can use a USB headset.

BTW: the BB IS a 4 way connector, not 3.

The BB does not do headset through the USB. I recommend the adapters from Seidio. I have two of them and they work great.
