Default Multi Problems With 8800 Sync - 06-03-2007, 07:39 AM

Since I upgraded my desktop software to 4.2 and now 4.2 sp2. I get an a crash in deskmanager.exe right after sync. It wants to send the error to ms of course that is of no help to me. This seems to have started since I put active sync on this computer. ok, sync is ok. Then when I try to use the loader, thus upgrading the handheld or adding software. I get the crash message, then a popup that the device is being used for dial up networking and has to be deactivated??????????? I have a cable connection and this is a wireless laptop, that never saw a modem. So what is going on here? My simple BB has become a problem. I need a Pda, i BOUGHT A htc 8525, but I really think the mail features are horrible, So i went back to my bb, and now these problems. Please help????

Have you tried un-installing and reinstalling the software?
