Default key beep - 06-03-2007, 03:42 PM

Is there any way to mute the key beep when you enter numbers on the 8830 to place a phone call?

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Even if you set key tone to off at Options, Screen/Keyboard, you will still have the barely audible dtmf tone from the phone dialer.

A trick is to type your phone number in a note, email or such, then dial or copy and paste to the dialer.
