Does Blackberry have an alert reminder for emails?

Currently my LG phone has a 2-min reminder setting where it beeps every 2 minutes until I read a new email that comes in.

Does Blackberry have a similar setting?

No. The status light will flash red but that's the best you can do.

Abe, yes it absolutely has an ausible alert, you set via your Profiles. It does not beep every two minutes.
There is a third party application called BBAlerts which will give you that repeated alert if you need that.
