I am a new user (one week). I have on the display the little enveloppe icon that shows one unopened message. Yet I have checked all my messages, and they are all read and opened. Same with voicemail.
Any ideas?

Check "Saved Messages."

Go to your Messages box.
Click the Menu key
Select "View Saved Messages."

If that is empty then go back to your Messages box and highlight today's date and click the menu key and select "mark prior opened."

The second part of your message worked. Thanks! And Orange customer services could not help me. They wanted to do a full reset....

I think this happened to me at first and it was not an unread email that was showing up but a missed phone call. I too was confused since I had read all the mails. I think the default view is for all messages, including the phone log, to appear in the Inbox. I now keep my phone log separate and also show only incoming emails.

Thanks...the first part worked. Somehow, some message got saved that I hadn't opened, and didn't purposely save. Did your suggestion and, VOILA!, success.
