Default New 8800's : AT&T Branded? - 06-18-2007, 10:07 PM

I just ordered a new 8800 from AT&T as a backup to my 8300 Curve. Does anybody know for sure if the latest phones shipped will have the new AT&T branding and logos...or will they still have the "old" Cingular stuff?

No big deal...just want to be current.

Wirelessly posted (NXTL7520: BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Does it matter?

Mine is Cingular and its approx. 3mo old

Nope...doesn't matter. Just curious. I personally think the new AT&T logo is far more handsome than the Cingular "Splatjack" one. But...neither one is going to effect the phones performance...

I received an 8800 from AT&T last week and it is still branded "Cingular".

It still has the old Cingular brand - I'm sure they are trying to clean up that stock first

Once you go BlackBerry! !
AT&T Wireless > Cingular > AT&T??
