I have the latest BB OS installed BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.1.138
Using BES 4.1 for MS Exchange


I had received a .wmv attachment file when I try to open the file I get the message format is not supported.

BB with the latest OS does not support window media player file...
And that sucks..

uh yea it does. I am not sure why yours does not. Could be BES restricted?

It is a window media player video clip and not a ring tone.

Oops, my bad, I read WAV the first go-round. Sorry.
Still should do wmv, though.

Even though it is on the BES allowed attachment list it still needs to be added to the attachment service...sorry I don't know how or where but I know we thought it was already in place but it wasn't...
