Default Anatomy questions - 06-26-2007, 12:54 AM

I have some questions about the "anatomy" of my 8800, but I can't seem to find any info.

1. Where is the internal antenna located? If I am in a fringe reception area, it would be helpful to know how to avoid shielding it with my hand.

2. I am curious where the ambient light detector is located.

3. About a third of the way up, on the left side, there are two small D-shaped openings, covered by a copper plate. What are these for?

Thanks!

2) light detector is located at the bottom of the status led (you can cover it with your thumb and see the screen dim)

3) the copper tabs are for mounting in a charger

not sure on your first question

1. Unless you have a metal plate in your hand, it won't make any noticeable difference in reception.
