Default from Treo 650/Yahoo Sync to BB8800 - 06-27-2007, 04:04 AM

I am using a Treo 650 and syncing my calendar, contacts, tasks and mail with Yahoo.

I just purchased a BB8800. Will I still be able to use Yahoo for my calendar and contacts and sync with the 8800?

Not that I am aware. You can sync with Outlook, Outlook Express, Agenda, Groupwise and one or two others.

If you can create a CSV file, you can move the data over however.

Sync your Treo to Outlook and then sync your blackberry to Outlook. That'll transfer your data.

Thanks.

I noticed that Yahoo Intellisync can sync Yahoo to Outlook. I now realize that the Blackberry can sync to Outlook. This will accomplish the initial data transfer.

I guess I might have to play with things and see, but I wonder if there would be conduit conflicts if I tried to maintain a three way sync (in a 2-step process) between BB-Outlook and Outlook-Yahoo.
