Default Hourglass after browsing a site - 07-26-2007, 07:26 PM

Using the BB browser, if I go to any website that makes it 'Running Script', it goes into this awful slow down with an hourglass that just keeps flashing. Sometimes it goes away after a while, sometimes it doesn't.

An example would be (ironically) Blackberry's website. I went to the Calendar patch page and it got stuck on the 'Running Script' status and just wouldn't load the page. After a few seconds, the hourglass pops up and doesn't go away.

Anyone else get this?

I don't know what setting you need to change but I am sure there is someone here with the answer. The one time that I did enable what the site was asking my device went crazy! I would suggest starting with a battery pull and waiting for someone here to give you the proper advice!

Are you thinking of emulation mode?

To the OP, I encounter same thing occaisionally with some web sites. I have java enabled and emulation set to blackberry. You can wait for the web page to load, though sometimes it is a long wait, or give up and do a soft reboot.
