Default Email/SMS alert tone doesn't work! - 07-27-2007, 03:50 PM

Purchased my 8830 World Edition two weeks ago. Last night, the email and SMS alert sounds stopped working! I doublechecked my profiles and everything is in order. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems?

It may be something with your device. Have you tried pulling the battery and letting it reboot?

Just simply turn it off, take the battery out, put it back, and turn it back on?

Actually, you can take the battery out while it is turned on. Leave it out for about 10 seconds, then put it back in.
