I'm trying to sync Outlook 2007 calendar and contacts onto my 8830. I have gone to BB destop -> sync -> configure sync and both calendar and contacts are set with arrows going both ways. Nothing happens at all. Ive tried to hit the sync in the desktop. Still nothing?
Ideas?

I've been searching for a few days but nothing seems to work...

You are connected to a corporate BES?
When you click the Synchronize Now button...exactly what happens?

No BES.
Absolutely nothing happens when I click synch now...

Have you followed the steps similar to these?

The box next to "synchronize organizer data" needs to be checked. Duh.
Ha. I've spent hours looking on the web for this answer.

Sounds like there may be an issue on the Verizon side.
