Has anyone used GTD apps, such as HabitMaster or NextAction? Most GTD are buy-only so I can't evaluate these. Which do you like the best? Why?

The ones that are available (and soon to come)... NextAction, "Falcon," nAr, and others... that try to sell themselves as GTD programs are exceptionally limited (and a waste of money) as compared to what you would find on other platforms. These programs seem to be just trying to exploit the concept for a quick buck rather than providing anything meaningful. Conspicuously, they don't seem to offer trial versions, either.

TodoMatrix (currently), and potentially PocketInformant (by the end of the year) are really likely the best options for robust and meaningful GTD implementation on the Blackberry.

Another alternative, especially if you are running Windows and Outlook, is MyLife Organized, which has a nice deskside component, syncs well with Outlook (and thus, the Blackberry) and is viewed by many to be a great way to implement GTD.

(As an aside... it's really odd how we're suddenly seeing all of these GTD questions... I'm beginning to wonder if they're more advertisements than real queries...)

I agree on the TodoMatrix. I also like IdeaMatrix, it's free form with the ability to
write a book if needed. Excellent for meeting notes and developing ideas.

I am using NextAction! which seems to be the best application for GTD on BlackBerry.

P.S.: I am also beta tester of the current beta 12 for version 2.0 of NextAction!. Even though the first version was very good, this one is really incredible!

NextAction is not free. And it doesn't offer a trial. IMO, it's not worth the risk for something that really doesn't handle the nuances of GTD. (See my post above.) Caveat emptor.

[PS. Mods... this thread should really be in the aftermarket forums... and it still seems like a bit of spam.]
