Hi all,

Just converted from a Palm to an 8830 device.

I need to add French as typing input language.

How can I do that?

On your home screen, click on the setup wizard and you will see a section for languages

Hi,

There are no other languages then English (and English United States) appearing on the menu wizard.

Options>languages>select french

I had to download and installa the latest Blackberry OS update for my provider (Telus), and then was able to add the language using the application loader...
