Default 8830 Messaging Filter - 08-18-2007, 04:31 PM

Greetings All,

I had a quick question about my BB8830. I distinctly remember being able to search my message lists by typing in a certain word/phrase/name, what ever would be in the text or from the sender, and it would filter out all the messages with those characters in it. Just like how when you start typing a contacts name from the home screen or in the address book and it begins to filter out the names with those letters. For instance, if i had a list of texts, and one of them had the word "apple" in it, i could go in my message list and type "app" and it would begin to filter it. I didnt have to go into the search option or anything like that. Is there a setting i have to re-enable? Please let me know if i was just imagining this, i really hope i wasnt but hopefully we can figure it out, haha.

Thanks in advance
