hey guys i juste got my bb and not aware of all the functions yet..lol

i have seen and heard that there is an sms application in it?cause i seen icons of sms on pics?and in the new version of plazmic there is one to??

i have a ? on my 8830 i only have sms text option.how can i send a picture from sms to another cell phone number.i could so it all the time with the 7100i.

8703, you miust get the Zen theme to use a split SMS folder from the Message folder. Some 8700s have the updated OS Version 4.2, which will split the SMS folder out. 8703 does not yet.

First, there is no SMS application. That is your message application, one and the same, regardless of BB model. Open Messages, click or tap Menu while on a date bar separator to COMPOSE SMS TEXT.

Second, I assumed you had an 8703, since you did not state what model and your profile says 8703.

If you want to have a separate folder on your homescreen, on the 8830, Open Messages > Options > General Options > scroll to bottom > SMS and EMail Inboxes > Separate.

Tricks, Tips, shortcuts... read Stinsonddogs Tips sheet in my signature below. My recommendation: print out the PDF, read over and try the tips WHILE using the BB in front of you. Read it and forget, do it and remember.
