Default Will Sprint's 8830 work in GSM without activation? - 08-21-2007, 08:23 PM

Hi, all,

I just ordered a 8830 from Sprint and I'm going to a GSM covered country right away. The question is -- will Sprint's 8830 work in GSM without first being activated in the U.S? My feeling is it should ....

I know it's a little strange... thanks for the help in advance!

The Sprint SIM won't, but if you use another carriers SIM it should...
