Exclamation BB8800 Ringtone Volume Problem (don't lough....it's to high :D ) - 08-22-2007, 09:45 AM

Hey guys i saw that all of you complain about the low volume or something like this...well..... i have the same problem..only invers )

I Have a BB 8800

The question is... how do i get the ringtone volume lower?.... when i go to opts and change the ringtone volume....it remains the same (loud) ..even if i make it 25% it still sounds the same as 100% ... i checked and it does indeed change the voice volume... if i set it up to 25%.... ringing is still 100% but the voice i hear is at 25% (also visible in the volume bar when speaking to someone) ... if i change it to 50%...ringing is 100% and voice vol. is 50%. I just want to change the ringing volume..not the voice volume!

I want to change the ringing volume...any ideeas? (i change it from Options - General options - Devault Call Volume)

My os is v4.2.1.90 (Platform 2.3.0.72) and i have it from Orange Romania

I think you need to change the option in your Profiles: How do I edit my notification tones (profiles)? - BlackBerryFAQ

You can set the Phone volume to Mute, Low, Medium, High or Escalating.
