I have a Blackberry 8830. I tried copying an AVI to the video file and got an error while playing it. So then I used the desktop manager to try to drag and drop an AVI from the computer to the video folder. A dialog box came up and said "do you want to convert or copy the file" i chose Convert
I immediately got the BS error "One or more of the following files cannot be transferred"

WHY??

That gives me no information. How do i get media files onto this thing?? Please help im going crazy here!

you dont have to drag and drop.click the folder on top to show all your pc folders.then go to the video you want click it copy down and your finished.

That gives me the same error when i click on copy down. Also I can watch the video in the top preview window. That part works just fine, its just i get a error when trying to put it on my phone.

do you have a media card in your bb. you can only download one video to the phone's memory if that.or the avi file you have is no good.send it to me if you want let me see if i can download it.

What is the source of the AVI file?
