Default synchronize button in grayed out - 08-27-2007, 08:26 AM

I have a new 8800. I am having problems synchronizing. when I open my desk top manager my synchronize button is grayed out. My laptop knows the 8800 is plugged in (usb) but the software does not see my unit, Please help.

with your blackberry plugged into the USB cable, have you tried detecting your blackberry by going to Options-> Connection Settings, and hitting the detect button?

Have you configured the synchronization options yet in the Desktop Manager? After clicking the Synchronize option, click on the Configuration tab, then the Configure Sync button.
