I am extremely happy with my new BB 8830 (upgraded from 8703e). In fact, the only thing I don't like is the blue backlighting on keys--hard to see. Otherwise, this is without doubt the best phone/BB that I have ever owned.

I do have a question about voice dialing. In general it works well but I cannot get it to recognize the name "Kari". Is there a way to correct this or improve voice recognition?

Be sure and say the names as they are listed in your address book. If they are listed last name first, say the names last name first. That's been a biggie for some.

I have found it helps to say both the first and last name. I have also adjusted the pronunciation for a few names. BB would not correctly identify "Kari" so I pronounce it like a car.. "Cari" Strange, but it worked.
