Cool Can Application be stored in media card! - 09-01-2007, 09:18 PM

I have just switched form Palm treo 700p to blackberry 8830 on vzw. i was so disappionted to hear about GPS. I have other problem i have used my palm for storing a lot of Medical programs, most of them were stored in sd card. now with the new blackberry i am not sure how to install applications to media card. is there a Application that can help me do that?

No, applications can't be stored on the media card.

Data can be stored on the card. however, the application must go on the device memory.

How can I store data on media card but install application on media card, becoz thats what i want to do?( as i have extensive data's more than 1gb!!!)

You cannot store the applications on the media card and run them from there. It is not possible.

Many apps can be installed to device memory and read their data from the card, however. Not many but a few.

According to the Pepid web site, they can store the data to the microSD card. I would contact them.

Appication which lets me see files on media card and also if i can store word/powerpoint files on my media card!
