I got my 8830 about 2 weeks ago, using BIS. However I have ran into the following issue's:

1: When install the Desktop Manager (came with 8830 from VZW), it is version 4.2.2.12 [March 19 2007], the Desktop Manager install took about 8-10 minutes to actually initialize and it does hang on me when I am using it, I have installed the on from the CD and I tried downloading it from the Website but still does the samething.

2: When I am synchronizing my BlackBerry with Outlook 2007 (I use GMail for my email) I have it set to prompt me for any conflicts/changes however when it gives me the pop-up to accept a conflict/change there are "?" and other various symbols in place of what should say "Calender", "Notes", etc.

Has anyone seen this issue?
