Default I need assistance! - 09-03-2007, 12:52 AM

Hey bbforums I'm sort of a new user but not. Had the 7290, went to the 7100i and now I have the 8830( major upgrade).

My problem is I did a backup and restored everything to my new 8830. I have old ringtones that I made that wont delete off of my new phone. Any suggestions? I pressed delete and nothing happens. I really want those ringtones gone because it's alooooot.

I really don't want to wipe the device because I don't want to have to individually send all my contacts and then import them back to the device. But all suggestions are welcome.

Where are you attempting to delete them from? Are you in the media app under ringtones >device memory?

If you were given the option to delete it and you still see it after deleting, you may need to remove the battery afterward in order for it to be completely gone.
