Default emails only push when outlook is closed? - 09-14-2007, 08:43 PM

Do y'all know why? I hadn't gotten any emails since around noon and couldn't figure out why....Since noon Friday none of my emails will push to the blackberry if my Microsoft Outlook is open. Am I doing something wrong? This wasn't the case yesterday.

Sorry for all the questions...i'm new.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

If you are using BIS, you have to close and open again to get it to reset

Also go into outlook and email settings and allow meassages to stay on the server so they will also get pushed to both bb and outlook.

Open and close Outlook? I did that and am still having issues.

If I open the email in Outlook before it gets pushed to my BB (which I understand is ever 15 min) will it not push?

I've noticed that if you open it in Outlook it will not push.

Are you using Outlook from a BES user as a BIS user?

If not, I have only had success setting up a forward rule.

I am using it as a BIS user. Keeping the emails on the server appears to be working. But this 15 min delay is a pain. I wish I could speed it up.
