Default Enterprise Activation After OS Update - 09-15-2007, 12:44 AM

Sorry for the cross-post (over at the BES Administrator area).

I just updated my 8830 OS to the latest build. Prior to the OS update I had enterprise activation with the password given to me (yesterday). I tried to activate again after the OS update with the same password. My IT told me it has a 96 hour life. So...

Can't seem to activate enterprise... Do I need a new password? Is the password good for only one activation?

Thanks!

Yes, you need a new activation password. You can only use the password once.

you can do the activation also via Desktop Messenger (wired), in this case you don`t need a password.

Every time I've updated the OS on my devices Enterprise activation was automatic. It did it without my having to do anything at all. That's supposed to be the way it happens. But if it didn't, you'll need your IT department to reprovision your Exchange account. Once a password has been used successfully, it's no longer valid. So if your pre-OS update activation worked, that password is no longer good.
