Default How2press # sign while on a call? - 09-15-2007, 08:31 PM

I cannot figure out how to press the # sign while on the phone. I am phoning in a prescription to an automated system and need to press the # sign after entering the number.

Alt-# results in a "Q" being entered. Shift-# gives me a capital "Q"

What am I doing wrong?

Just press the Q key and you'll get the # sign - no need for shift or ALT.

Going by memory, you actually don't have to press anything because the device knows that you are in "phone mode" so pressing the Q key will just give you the # without having to press Alt. And if you do press Alt while in "phone mode" you get tht Q, because things are reversed.
