Default Blackberry and Exchange - 09-15-2007, 08:46 PM

Until recently I only read pop3 email with my blackberry. Now i have all the bells and whistles with echange.

I quickly noticed that only emails that went to my in box appeared on my blackberry. I have a ton of rules that move incoming emails into the correct folder when they arrive. Tech support told me that I had my choice... run a script on the blackberry that synced the folders, but then the inboc is not synced, or remove the rules and keep everything in the inbox.

Is that right? I have to stop using folders if i want to have proper sync with my blackberry? I do not know enough to argue the point, but that seems crazy if its true.

I believe they are correct. I believe the folders are synced with the BlackBerry (so you can see all the folders in your Inbox) but in order to see messages in the folders you have to move them to the appropriate folder once the come to the BlackBerry. That seemed to be my experience, at least, when I was using BES.
