Default Swith Devices - 09-16-2007, 11:00 AM

I have successfully switched devices many times, but one thing always is an issue. After I register the new device on BES everything syncs, calendar, contacts, and I start getting new mail. But the 100 or so emails that are on the server in my inbox that were synced with the previous device never move over to the new device. There must be a way to do this easily.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

*edit* title should be SWITCH Devices. Apologies.

If you use the Switch Device Wizard, part of Desktop Manager, it will move over all of your old Messages, etc. from the old BB. It will do that, and then Enterprise Activation will kick in.

The BES is set to only pre-populate 5 days worth of message (which is the default). It can be changed to up to 14 days, though, but has to be done by the BES Admin.

You could always do a backup of your previous device and just restore them to the new device if you want to have them all...may create some duplicates.
