Default Browser Drop-Down menus won't work!!! - 09-16-2007, 07:38 PM

While browsing the internet, not all drop-down menus are working for me. I took out the battery, put it back in, and tried again. Ironically, the two specific menus that won't work are on Blackberry's website! I need to fill in my state and country so I can download the Desktop Software! Help!!!!

I have tried various searches with no luck. Any suggestions?

go to the FAQs and search on Internet browsing. There are a ton of configurable options but some will impact performance. If surfing is what you are into you might want to check out Opera Mini...just do a search and you will find info on installing the application.

If you haven't had problems with these menus before, try clearing your browser cache. Don't know. But worth a try.

Edit: Heck, clear history and cookies, too, just in case.

Unfortunately, since it's a work phone, I can't download Opera. Clearing the cache didn't work either. But thanks for the suggestions!

Is it the type of menu in general, or just those menus on that page?

Also, could this be and IT policy issue?

It has happened a couple of time before on different pages. I have successfully used drop down menus on different pages on the Blackberry website though. These two drop down menus ( country and state) are the only drop=downs on this specific page.

I'll download Opera and see if it works. I can always apologize later!

Can I download the software to a different cpu and then upload it to my Blacberry?

Thanks for the help! I think I should be okay with Opera

Kama45, I looked again at your original post. You're not trying to download desktop manager with the blackberry are you?
