Default Upgrading the 8830 OS - 09-16-2007, 10:03 PM

Hello: I am a noob who has been reading the posts in the 8800 forum as suggested. I find that the most recent version of OS software for the 8830 Sprint is version 4.2.2.148. My brand new BB has version 4.22.123. Should I upgrade? How do I do it? Where do I get the upgraded softwate? Is there a charge?

Thanks

J2iron

I wouldn't think you need an upgrade just yet. It's free if you feel like doing.

Welcome to the forums.

Personally, I wouldn't bother upgrading unless you are having problems with the version you have (my opinion). If you want to upgrade, you can find the steps here: How do I upgrade the OS on my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

There is no charge to ugprade.
