Default remove email account ? - 09-18-2007, 04:12 PM

my blackberry 8830 on verizon came setup with my work email going to my main message list.

i didnt really know what i was doing, but i wanted my gmail on here as well

so i went to setup wizard and did add email address, and put in my gmail email address and my password

now i have two message lists, one main, one for gmail, and when i get a gmail message, it goes to both

later i realized that all i really want is the gmail app.

so my question is how do i remove the gmail account from my blackberry?

thank you for any help

ok that was easy, i should have figured that out from reading the FAQ, i am sorry

but, what if i do want to keep my gmail as one of my blackberry mail accounts.

is there a way to have the blackberry keep seperate, my gmail it receives in one message list, and my work mail it receives in the main message list?

No.

You can try the third party software BES Mailbox.
