Post 8820s - Ebay - 09-20-2007, 10:44 PM

My local store doesn't have any 8820s yet but I found some on eBay:

BlackBerry 8820 for AT&T / Cingular Service / Brand NEW

NEW, UNLOCKED AT&T Global BlackBerry (8820)

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.8993/58; U; en))

Wow! $1,000 for one of those, huh? What we will do for the latest gadgets. More power to them, I guess.

Yeah. $999 seems a little steep but it couldn't be worth it to someone.. who needs an unlocked device. Funny, it's not unlocked.

Excuse me but NONE of these people have the 8820! Until you see them on eBay with images of the actual retail box, they are not out on the streets for sale. These people are hoping you are so desperate that you will pay way over retail and then wait for them to deliver while you local ATT store is selling them for way less.

For me the REAL way to tell if the 8820 is actually at the stores is REAL images of the little beast in the actual retail box. Looks like none arrived at the stores on opening day, maybe today! Just keep you eye on eBay and it will tell the story!

Ouch. There's three on there now. Two "buy it nows" for $599 and $750. My store still doesn't have any but I was able to order online.
