tested wi-fi on visitor lan at work. it is considerably faster than my 5+Mbps/600kbps home wi-fi network; nevertheless, my at&t 8820 still tops out on toast.net speed test around 76kbps wi-fi at work also. i guess this confirms issue is with my phone. can ANY other at&t 8820 blackberry purchaser verify they get higher wi-fi speed test results?

and what does it do in speed on edge?

I find all this speed someehat useless anyway as doing the internet on this tiny screen is not very satisfying.

Where will this need for speed take you?

greg, same speed on EDGE (sans wi-fi): 75-85 kbps.

i paid $500 for my new 8820. the inducements included wi-fi, and i believed speedier wi-fi. i am interested to learn if i really received the hoped for benefit of wi-fi. i understand you may not consider it as important.

best regards, bt

WTF! What happend to the Dawgs!

I live among Florida Gator fans and I NEED the Dawgs to WIN!

My parents spent alot of money sending me there and I had a blast. I don't really care as long as we beat Florida. It is not looking good!

GA never came to play. Out-manned on both lines, out-schemed on D and O. No energy, no fire. GA fans everywhere watched in disbelief as TN ran any play they wanted at will all day.

GA is very, very young but that is no excuse for playing like that. They have 3 freshmen on the OL, freshmen playing DB, LB, RB, TE, etc. Coaches said they worried about the youth in an atmosphere like that and their nightmare came true.

Who's that peekin' in my window?...POW....nobody now.

It was UGLY, and I'm trying hard to forget it!
Young team and line - recruiting was the line coaches responsibility - he split last year.
I just would like to see more life in the rest of the players besides Moreno!
Play Joe Cox more also!
I was hoping for an upset over FL this year, but now I wouldn't bet a penny on it.....
