Default Email - IMAP - How to see "Sent Folder" - 09-22-2007, 07:53 PM

I am using IMAP email on my BB - 8830 and Outlook Desktop at home. Sent email from my BB are saved in the "Sent Folder" on the IMAP server. Good.

However, how can I access, from my BB, emails that I sent from my Outlook-desktop. Can I access the "Sent Folder" from my BB?

Thank you.

I don't believe you can as the folders from your server aren't synched to the BlackBerry.

Thanks for the answer. However, I'll keep checking in the next few weeks on how do to this.
I find it strange that emails sent with my BB are in the "Sent Folder" on the IMAP but I can't get the other emails that are in the the "Sent Folder" on the IMAP that were sent from webmail or home desktop-outlook.

Sorry, but it can't be done.
BIS doesn't support folder redirection in the same way that BES does. You won't be able to do what you want with IMAP/BIS.

Was hoping the upgraded version of BIS will do this! I hear rumors of the new BIS to give us more BES funtions but it still has not been introduced yet!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8820/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Has anyone heard of any new news on the new BIS?
