I have, it's pretty trivial with Linux. I made two 3Gb partitions, but the Blackberry only "sees" the first partition, while the PC can see both, with Linux or Windows.
Even SanDisk on thier website for compatibility with the BlackBerry 8800 only lists a max of 4GB MicroSDHC. If the 6GB and 8GB were truely compatible, I'm sure they would have listed it. Besides, I don't think its a goof on thier part if the T-Mobile Wing and HTC Tilt are listed as supporting the 6/8GB MicroSDHCs.
Does anybody have a 4GB card with more than 2GB of data in an 8800 or 8820? I don't understand why the BB wants you to format the card to 1.67GB w/ a FAT file system only when you use a 6GB card instead of a 4GB card. Perhaps the 8300 is able to use a different file system?
I have been using a SanDisk 4GB microSD card in my 8830. It shows 3.7GB in the 8830 and 3.79GB in my Windows Vista Laptop. The 4GB card has been working flawlessly.
I have a 6GB SanDisk card in my 8820 and it does show up as 5.68GB available. I haven't had time yet to put stuff on the card (just got my BB's about a week ago). So it does show and I had to format them on my Windows computer first.
I just bought the 8 gb sandisk card but only shows up as 3.6 gb,called blackberry and i was told that future os updates will allow more space to be used, does anyone have any ideas i can try for it to have more room now without waiting for an os update.

I've never been able to see the contents of the blackberry.com site with my Blackberry phone. I always have to use the desktop instead. Isn't that ironic?
