Unhappy Another Audio Issue -> 8820 for AT&T - 09-26-2007, 10:43 AM

I scanned the other threads regarding the background noise for the 8830's on Sprint and Verizon, and I have a similar problem with my 8820 for AT&T. There is no "enhanced audio" issue under the phone options on my phone to tinker with.

Does anyone else have the background issue (every noise is amplified for other phone user and voice echoes on own phone significantly) with the 8820?

Also, has there been a fix implemented or is there one in the works?

Have had the phone for 2 days and am ready to return to sender.

Thanks.

Anyone have this issue for the 8820 or did everyone avoid the device based on the Verizon 8830 and Sprint 8830 issues?

Sounds like you may have a bad phone because my 8820 is crystal clear and I've had no complaints from others regarding the sound of my phone.
I would probably return and get another.

No problems with mine. I've noticed a significant improvement over my 7290 with call clarity and audio volume.
