Default 8830 Verizon not making calls - 09-26-2007, 12:01 PM

So my boss has a 8830 and this is the second time Ive had to pull the battery on it b/c of this problem. Basically when you hit the send button to make a call it does nothing, and when you hit the menu button instead of it saying "call marc" it would say something like "conference marc" and wont call. Pulling the battery works but is there something I can tell him to stop doing so that we can avoid this?

does he have the newest os update? sounds like what happens when the call collision glitch would occur where the phone still thinks you're on another call.

Verizon call collision issue. Get the latest OS for his phone. If he has .66 then this is the issue and there is a fix for it in the latest OS. Upgrade the phone.
